Information

Some Useful Information Before You Come Visit

Here at Good Times Adventures we take great pride in doing our best to accommodate all of our guests needs and to anticipate any eventualities. All the same, please do let us know in advance of any special requirements your party may have. During peak times we run trips 7 days a week, and we are closed on a few Mondays during slower times. If you have questions which are not addressed below do not hesitate to call our office at 800-477-0144 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., or email us on our contact page.

Reservations & Cancellation Policy

Reservations are required as we have limited space on our trips. Please call and let our friendly staff answer any questions you may have and they will help arrange your holiday experience.  In order to guarantee your trip availability payment for all activities and participants must be made in full when making your reservation.

Good Times will fully refund charges for any cancellations made at least 24 hours before your trip. There are no refunds for cancellations or drops in party numbers made within 1 day of the scheduled activity. For groups of fifteen or more, cancellation policies vary slightly and 72 hours notice of any cancellation is required for a refund. Sorry, there are no refunds for no-shows or drops in party numbers made at check-in.

Transportation Info **

Good Times Adventures does not provide transportation, if you do not have a vehicle to drive yourself to the facility, then you will need to set up a private shuttle. You are welcome to drive your own vehicle to our facilities. We have ample guest parking and having your own vehicle here allows you a bit more flexibility in your schedule. You can find directions to us here or call our office. Holidays and Saturdays are particularly busy and it is VERY important that guests arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled tour time.

** IMPORTANT PLEASE READ:

1) Uber & Lyft are not viable options for transportation in and around Summit County. There are limited Uber & Lyft drivers in the Summit County area. Cell phone coverage that is spotty prevents the apps from working.

2) THERE IS NO CELL PHONE COVERAGE AT Good Times Adventures UBER & LYFT APPS WILL NOT WORK AT THE TOUR SITE. GUEST THAT TRY TO USE UBER OR LYFT WILL WANT TO SET UP A PREARRANGED RETURN TRIP WITH THOSE SERVICES.

Guest Responsibilities

We do everything possible to ensure a safe trip for every guest. However, because of the nature of outdoor adventure activities, participation is at your own risk. A signed liability waiver is required for all participants. For minors, a parent must be present or have arrangements made to sign prior to the trip. For all snowmobile tours, a guarantee for damages must also be provided at check-in in the form of a signed credit card imprint. For larger groups, we can assist you in gathering both the waivers and damage deposit prior to the event.

What To Wear

For your comfort, we advise you to dress in layers, just as you would for a day on the slopes. Skiwear and winter boots are perfect. If needed, we have adult-sized snowsuits and boots available at no extra charge. We also provide open-faced helmets which are required for our snowmobilers. You may bring your own DOT-approved helmet if you like, but ski helmets are NOT allowed for snowmobiling. You should bring your own gloves, hats, neck warmers, goggles and sunglasses for all activities with us. Many of these items are also available for purchase in our lodge; including fleece outerwear, gloves, hats, neck warmers, hand warmers, and sunglasses. Don’t forget your camera!!!

Our Guides

All tours are led by our professional staff of outstanding people with widely-ranging stories and backgrounds. We pride ourselves on having the best guides in the business, each of whom is vitally concerned with the safety and the “Good Times” of our guests. Each of our guides is fully trained in First Aid, CPR, guest relations, and equipment use, and is in radio contact with the lodge while out on the trail. They are all very personable, and truly love what they do. Please keep in mind that professional guides are in the service industry and are primarily compensated through gratuities. While 15-20% is suggested, it is at your discretion.
